Still not much action over at JimHahn.org - at least not on the surface. But that shoddy "under construction" home page is just a possum act.
Dig under the source code and you can get a hint of the caliber of hired gun for web communications that Mayor Hahn will be packing when he finally gets his campaign on the road.
In several places, comment tags used to hide the old 2001 press releases from his previous campaign say, "COMMENTED OUT BY GEOFF BY DIRECTION OF MIKE GREENLE, AUG, 09 2004 ..."

Michael Greenle is a senior producer for Carol/Trevelyan Strategy Group (CTSG) - a software company that "provides organizations with tools to manage their online advocacy, fundraising, email, content and Web sites," according to Disinfopedia.
(Oh, and by the way, Google says the Cornell Class of '97 would love to know whatever happened to Mike after he graduated and left Psi Upsilon behind. No clarification as to the identity of "Geoff," but let's guess he's a line web producer.)
In any case, CTSG claims more than 200 clients, including the Service Employees Union International (SEIU), the Natural Resources Defense Council and Planned Parenthood Affiliates of California.
No telling what they're up to with the site, though. There doesn't appear to be any new code in place.
The hidden home page still contains links to the old news stories from the 2001 campaign, and if you dig deep enough you can see the rest of the old site, including a 3-year-old list of accomplishments and a precis of "what i'm working for."
You can amuse yourself by reviewing Hahn's home page keywords: "Jim Hahn, Hahn, LA Mayor race, Los Angeles Mayor, Los Angeles, City Attorney, Jim Hahn for Mayor, gangs, gun violence, James Hahn, LA Mayor, domestic violence, tobacco, neighborhood councils, elder abuse, Kid Watch, handguns, gun safety, Hahn for Mayor, James Hahn for Mayor."
But beyond that, the trail's pretty cold, so I guess we'll just have to wait, as Marvin the Martian says, for the earth-shattering KABOOM.
Meanwhile, Hizzoner postponed a grip-and-grin with Eric Garcetti and Tom LaBonge that would have kicked off his official campaign. Hahn press aide put everybody off saying that he had to attend a security briefing with LAPD and the feds.
That was also the week Hahn had his email subpoenaed, begged off the League of Women Voters mayoral debate in October and was challenged by Bob Hertzberg's petition drive demanding that he join the debate. So many demands for his attentions.
In other mayoral site news:
Richard Alarcon - Dead in the water amid rumors he's ducking the race to run for controller. Nonetheless, he got an endorsement from the Community Coalition of East Los Angeles.
Bob Hertzberg - A few feel-good ideas for nabbing tax cheats, but otherwise e-Quiet(tm).
Bernard Who?
And Antonio Villaraigosa - Didn't he used to have a blog?
