Coder/blogger Jim Winstead snagged the Blog-LA-Sphere.com domain name and launched his own blog-of-L.A. blogs ("Los Angeles as Seen by the People") as "a guide to all of the blogs from people in and around the Los Angeles area."
It's hard to tell at first glance whether the site's list of blog matches the comprehensiveness or freshness of LABlogs.com's always-updating blogroll, which Jonah just redesigned.
He gives a nod to LABlogs' Jonah, who seems to have provided the site's blogroll:
On one side is the big list of the blogs, with the most recently updated blogs listed at the top (as determined by Chester, our trained helper monkey). Chester told us to make sure to thank Jonah of LA Blogs and la.foodblogging for maintaining the list at LA Blogs that got us started.
On the other side are posts by our editors highlighting some of the touching, funny, wacky, or otherwise interesting things that they’ve run across when surfing the Blog-LA-Sphere.
