  What Rocky Hath Wrought? More GTA Hot Water

Two weeks after L.A. City Attorney Rocky Delgadillo sued Take Two Interactive for sneaking the "Hot Coffee" sex gamelet into Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas two groups of shareholders slapped the company with class-action lawsuits, too.

Should TakeTwo blame Rocky for their stockholders' righteous wrath over the drop in its stock prices that followed the Hot Coffee revelations?

No, they're the idiots who failed to let the game be rated "Adults Only" - the resulting press from which might even have made their bottom line even more tumescent than it already is, while avoiding legal trouble ...

But consider this interesting bit of timing:
The furore also resulted in the city attorney for Los Angeles taking legal action against Take Two alleging that no mention was made of the pornographic scenes in order to win a lower rating.

Now New York law firms Milberg Weiss Bershad & Schulman and Stull, Stull and Brody are filing class action lawsuits for people who owned stock in Take Two between the day when the game was released and the announcement of the LA lawsuit.
