Every now and then, you stumble across one of these gems - a blogger who does something absolutely beautiful not for money, but for himself and the people who might find his site.

The Jimson Weed Gazette is a photoblog full of pretty, haunting views of Los Angeles streets (and occasionally people).

The artist, who offers his self-portrait but only identifies himself as "-K-", has been online since August. Jimson weed, by the way, is poisonous and hallucinogenic.
