King / Drew - Maybe It's Time To Just Burn The Damn Thing Down

This is great. As if things weren't bad enough with audits, the closure of their trauma ward, and threat of loss of their emergency services, now Dr. Patrick Aguilera, director of the emergency medicine residency program at King / Drew Medical, has been suspended for possible misconduct toward female residents.
POWER
I know it's possible to hire good people at this hospital. I've met some of them. I know it's possible to solve the problems there. There are hundreds of hospitals in sketchy areas throughout the nation that run just fine.

So why the fuck do problems keep happening there? Is this a problem throughout the county health system and we're not hearing it, or is it just King / Drew? Are these real issues or has the hospital just turned into the media's whipping boy?

King / Drew has turned into the poster child for the County Health Department's repeated fuck ups. They have repeatedly been unable to resolve the problems that plague the hospital and school.

Part of me wonders if maybe they need to fail the audits being conducted over the course of the next few months. Find something so eggregious that they decide to scrap the place and start over. Would it be that big a tragedy to hit the reset button?
