Opening Day At Dodger Stadium Is A Complete Disaster
2939 Reads

Chavez Ravine was a perfect storm of ineptitude today as the Dodgers got blown out in their home opener, lost two key players to injury, and incurred the wrath of frustrated fans who were forced to fight through chaos and gridlock just to get into the parking lot thanks to the Dodgers' new "streamlined" parking system. CULTURE
The Colorado Rockies crushed the Dodgers on the field 6-3.

New superstar pitcher Jason Schmidt left the game with a hamstring injury and slugging outfielder Matt Kemp left the game with an as-yet undisclosed injury after colliding with the outfield wall.

For weeks the Dodgers have been touting their new "controlled zone" parking system that was supposed to speed entry and exit into the stadium and for weeks fans have grumbled about the 50% increase in parking fees to pay for this new "system." The LA Times is reporting that, at game time the stadium was half-full becuase most people were still stuck in gridlocked traffic trying to get into the stadium.
